Week 2: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!

Good morning fellow followers! Firstly my apologies that this weeks blog is a day late. It is only late and not missing completely because I made a decision at the beginning that I would use this platform with transparency and that I would always honestly record my weeks efforts and results. Well that's all well and good but I actually thought I wasn't going to have a bad week. It was all false hope that I would never need to report a god awful failure of a weigh in.

The good news is I am really being melodramatic. It was a rainy week and I wasn't able to get out with the pram walking pretty much at all which meant that although I was eating pretty good (there was a half bag of chicos consumed on Grand Final day along with a couple of party pies... ok I admit it) it just was not going to be an influential week.

Coinciding with a certain regular hormonal event- which usually renders me 2kg heavier with fluid- like clockwork- also meant that despite a good week last week I have been feeling rather down with the " I am kidding myself it is never going to happen" vibes.

So this morning I thought- "Girl get off your chair, go weigh in and STOP being a sook. It won't be that bad!" and though I expected them to have this reading:

In fact, though I felt heavier- in body and spirit- I haven't gained weight! YAY. So I am still 94.4. I would have loved to have tipped the scales (so-to-speak) for the last week of September for a great September total. But alas it was not meant to be. So those first 2.5 kg I will roll into the October count for those of you who have ACTUALLY offered to pledge- hold onto your cash and we will add it into the end of this month!

I promised you the Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Week 2 and I am already confessing to hormonal sugar eating and allowing the weather to flake on the exercise. Hell, I even considered cheating on the scales for the photo and trying to "make it back" next week so that I didn't let you down. But, yesterday, the boys and I were out walking in the sunshine all day and I know next week will be a whopper of a week (not the hamburger, just a great week) and this one will soon be forgotten. STAY TUNED!

Thanks for hanging in there with me and I look forward to an amazing week this week. I couldn't have gotten this far without the blog (usually this is the "give up now and try again later" point) but I have had soooo many people offering support and joining in their own way that I just have to keep going! So Thanks!

XOXOX
